Former Sooner Jermaine Gresham May Need Back Surgery

Andrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports

One of the few remaining NFL free agents is former Sooner tight end Jermaine Gresham. Many had him landing in Oakland joining former Sooner and recently signed free agent Curtis Lofton. All of this may be on hold however as multiple reports have surfaced that Gresham may require back surgery.

The good news for Gresham is that this injury does not appear to be career threatening and he should be back in time for training camp. The bad news is that this will probably cost Gresham some money as teams could shy away with lingering injury concerns.
