The Sooners received their 2nd commitment of the day in Linebacker Arthur McGinnis. I think it goes without saying that this commitment serves as a huge sigh of relief for the Sooner nation. McGinnis had narrowed his choices to OU, Arizona, and TTech, before announcing tonight. He had offers from across the country.

Arthur McGinnis joins Ricky Deberry as the Sooners 2 linebacker commitments for the class of 2015. The Sooners are still in search of more.
The Sooners are now 3 for 4 on their weekend visitors (Miller, Green, and now McGinnis). Look for Prentice McKinney to join on National Signing Day.
Rather than using Arthur's commitment as another opportunity to bash Tim Kish, let's just be happy that the Sooners picked up a big time player at huge position of need.
Depending on which recruiting service you follow McGinnis is either a 3 or 4 star, but he is a 5 star in terms on need. He is the 23rd commitment for the class of 2015.
