Lincoln Riley made his second offer at quarterback for the class of 2016 in K.J. Costello. K.J. plays for Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Magarita, California. Costello tweeted out his offer last night.

Costello possesses great size 6-4/220 and would be consider more of a pro style quarterback. He is not a statue however and has decent mobility. He has offers from Bama, Arizona, ASU, Cal, UF, FSU, Stanford, USC, UCLA, Texas A&M, and Tennessee along with the Sooners. While the Sooners will have to overcome stiff competition to sign Costello, they do have a huge bullet in their arsenal. They did not take a QB in the class of 2015. That is appealing to big time quarterbacks.
Costello also signals a change in direction for Sooner QB's. Riley is looking for more prototypical drop back passers as opposed to dual threat.
