The Sooners are scouring the nation for linebackers in the class of 2016. Yesterday they landed their first linebacker commit in the class of 2016 in Jon-Michael Terry. Terry appears to be the first of many in the class of 2016. The Sooners have continued to evaluate prospects and these evaluations have resulted in 3 new offers in the past 24 hours. Here are the players:
Marvin Terry 6-2/225 from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, TX
OFFERS: Ark, Cal, Louisville, TCU, Oregon, SMU, UCLA, TTech, Wisconsin, and now the Sooners.

While Barnes and Laguins would appear to be longshots because of location, I believe the Sooners have a more than decent chance at a player like Terry. The Sooners need a minimum of 4 linebacker commits for the class of 2016, but ideally would land 5. Ideally the Sooners would land 3 outside linebackers and 2 inside linebackers.
