Oklahoma Sooners Football Recruiting/ Sooners Pick Up 2nd Commit for 2016 Class

The Sooners junior day was a huge success as players poured into Norman this afternoon. Several offers were handed out and one player wasted no time in committing to the Sooners. That player is Jon-Michael Terry.

SoonerScoop.com broke the news with the following tweet

Bob Stoops followed up with a tweet confirming the area code

It also appears that the Sooners have a new hashtag and saying for the class of 2016 #OUDNA. They also have a new commit phrase which is "Stand Up"

Jon-Michael Terry should fit in at OLB for the Sooners.

The reality is that the Sooners didn't get their first linebacker commitment of the class of 2015 until December. Now the have their first linebacker commitment of the 2016 at their first Junior Day in February.
