For those of you who are new to recruiting, Junior Days have become huge. Schools across the country host top junior targets, let them tour the campus, make new offers, and host players that already have offers. The Sooners are set to host their first of two Junior Days this weekend. There will be numerous prospects on campus this weekend. We will break down the players into 3 categories. It's impossible to know every prospect, so this list will include many, but not all of the prospects that will attend. We expect there to be somewhere between 30 and 40 prospects on campus this weekend.

Here is an overview of several of the guys who will be in town this weekend

Jared Mayden- Jared is a legacy recruit. His dad, James played for the Sooners basketball team from 1994-95. While Jared was seemingly hot and cold regarding his interest with Sooners, but tweeted out earlier this week. (OU OFFER)

Greg Eisworth- Greg was one of the earliest offers for the Sooners. He could fit at either WR or S. (OU OFFER)

J.P. Urquidez- The talented and big time OL makes a return visit to Norman this weekend. (OU OFFER)

Houston Miller- Houston most likely an OLB prospect for the Sooners. He currently doesn't have a Sooner offer, but could easily pick one up this weekend. I could even see a commitment. I know it's shocking, but the Sooners would already have a LB commit for the class of 2015.

Chanse Sylvie- The Shreveport, LA native is making the trek to Norman this weekend. His biggest offers to date are TCU and the Sooners. (OU OFFER)

Noah Jones- Jones is again a legacy recruit, as his dad ran track for the Sooners in the 1980s. Jones does not have an offer as of yet, but is an ideal fit for DE in a 3-4

Tyrell Alexander- Tyrell does not have an offer as of yet, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him pick up an offer.

Trayveon Williams- The talented all-purpose back will make his way to Norman this weekend. I would expect that he picks up an offer..

This is just a few of the numerous prospects that will be in town for the first of two junior days. There is seemingly always a surprise offer or two. Also it's very possible that the Sooners gain a commitment or two this weekend. Check bach with CCM for the latest.
