The Sooner coaches are back at it making visits across the country and getting ready for another wave of official visits as we countdown to national signing day. Here is a quick update on where things stand with several elite prospects.
Fresh off a visit to Tennesse, the Sooners countered with Cale Gundy in the Jones' house tonight. Cale Gundy let us know of his whereabouts with the following tweet.
Great home visit in the 334 tonight. I feel a Boom coming soon. He has that #OUDNA— Cale Gundy (@OU_CoachGundy) December 7, 2015
The Sooners will have a fight on their hands for Velus as Tennessee made a big impression on him. He is quickly rising to the level of must get to make this class truly special.
I know that I predicted him to end up a Sooner on national signing day, but the Sooners will have a fight on their hands. Price tweeted out his official visit intentions and the it usually bodes well to have the last official visit.
As far as the next Sooners commitment, I am not sure the Sooners will land another commitment until December 18th, when 4* DL Chris Daniels 6-3/300 makes his decision. This should be a battle a Sooners will win.
Also the Sooners will be hosting several players next weekend in the defensive backfield. Here is the small but talented list. I expect this list to grow as the Sooner prepare for their banquet weekend.
