We are closing in on National Signing Day for 2016 (February 3, 2016) and the Sooners class still needs to add some elite talent to round out the class. The good news, barring something crazy and unforeseen, it should happen. Here are the class of 2016 predictions for December.
Current Commits - 13
Commit Predictions - 11*
Even though Velus is a USC commit, this is by all accounts a Michigan/OU battle, with the Sooners seemingly out in front.
While Willies is committed to TTech, I expect a flip at some point. The longer it goes however, the less likely it seems like it will happen. If this goes on another month or so, I wouldn't be shocked to see him off this list.
This is just a matter of connecting the dots. It will be incredibly difficult to pull him out of the state of Georgia, but something tells me it will happen.
This is a Bedlam battle, and I guess I would have to see OSU beat the Sooners before I would actually believe they will win this battle.
We won't have to wait long as Daniels will decide on December 18th. This is a Michigan/OU battle with the Sooners seemingly way out in front.
There is some ground swell that Bledsoe could stay at home and pick the Jayhawks (he is from Lawrence). But I just can't see a player of his quality choosing the Jayhawks over the Sooners.
I honestly don't know if there is a team other than OU on Southall's radar, in spite of his huge and long offer list.
This is OU's race to lose. Michigan defensive coordinator leaving for Maryland doesn't hurt things either.
We should find out in a couple weeks where Mbem-Bosse will wind up. This sounds like a battle the Sooners will win.
I just think he recognizes that he could come and take the place of Eric Striker. This is a battle between OU and FSU.
He is quiet, but I think a flip happens at some point.
*I am not sure how the number situation will work out, considering the number of players predicted in this class. I just see the Sooners still heavily recruiting these players and believe they will be a part of the class of 2016.
