For those of you who follow recruiting closely the Sooners could quite possibly have one of their biggest recruiting weeks in recent memory as they are set to quite possibly land the following prospects.
Here is a quick rundown of each prospect as well as our prediction as to where each player ends up.
Velus Jones - Velus is a nightmare matchup. He possesses rare speed, but is physical enough to play either outside or in the slot. He is currently at USC commit, but expect that to change tomorrow. This should come down to the Vols and the Sooners. We won't have to wait long as Velus will make his commitment at 2:15 pm tomorrow at his school. In the end this is one where I think the Sooners win out.
Chris Daniels - Interior defensive lineman with Daniels skill set do not come along often. His offer list reflects a prospect that can be elite. Daniels by all accounts is a Michigan/OU battle, and I believe the Sooners are in the driver's seat. Daniels will commit on his birthday this Friday.
Elysee Mbem-Bosse - Could the Sooner really pull two prospects this week out of deep SEC country. Mbem-Bosse seems to be down to Auburn and OU. With the all the uncertainty regarding Muschamp's replacement, this feels like a battle the Sooners can in fact win. Mbem-Bosse will be announcing on Thursday. I believe the Sooners win out by the slimmest of margins.
