Friday Locks | TCU At Oklahoma State & Friday Specials

Oklahoma State was a big part of our selections last week as they traveled to play Texas Tech. This week they're back in the conversation as the Pokes host TCU.

This Week's Picks

SaintSooner

I'm going with an all-ranked list.

#3 Clemson does not cover, but wins.  12 against FSU is just silly, even this year.

Sigh. #10 Iowa covers, even though it's the BIG B1G.  And we felt stupid about our name.

#19 Ole Miss over Arky versus the spread because I wanna.

Joey

Notre Dame (-8) @ Pittsburgh - Pitt isn't great. Fighting Irish keep their playoff hopes alive.

Iowa (-6.5) @ Indiana - Indiana has given Michigan State and Ohio State some issues. With that said, I think Iowa's great defense keeps the Hoosiers in check.

TCU (-5) @ Oklahoma State - OSU isn't very good as far as 8-0 teams go. This still depends on which TCU team shows up. Horned Frogs by 10.

Caymen

TCU - Oklahoma State has been the least impressive power 5 team that's still undefeated. They could have 3 losses right now. TCU isn't as good as they were last year, but they're good enough to outscored the Cowboys by a lot.

MSU - Last time I checked Nebraska wasn't a very good football team and Sparty was undefeated.

Iowa - They'll have to lose sometime, but not to the Hoosiers

Rich

LSU (+6.5) vs Alabama - Two of the best backs in the nation square off as Derrick Henry meets Leonard Fournette. Unfortunately for the Crimson Tide, I believe Fournette wins the battle on Saturday. As we all know, those who run the ball in SEC successfully tend to win more games.

Michigan State (-5.5) vs Nebraska - The Spartans should have their way with the Cornhuskers. Looking at the fact that this game spread sits at under a touchdown, I'll take MSU every time.

Memphis (-8.0) vs Navy - The high flying offense of the Tigers let me down the last time I chose them against the spread. Yet, that was by a single point. I'm taking em again with the hopes of a different outcome this go around.

Donnie

TCU over OKState 49-38. This one comes down to the fact that I believe that Boykin is better than Rudolph and TCU's defense is slightly better than OKState. The Frogs will cover in Stillwater.

Indiana over Iowa 31-28. Iowa's dream season will come crashing down. This pick is probably crazy, but considering how there is usually one upset a week, this is my pick.

Clemson over FSU 34-24. The Tigers quest for an undefeated season continues with a win, but they fail to cover.

Matt

Temple (-13) at SMU - The Owls are the real deal and the Mustangs are not. Temple wins this one by 13 plus.

San Jose State (+12.5) vs. BYU - I've always been a sucker for Friday night games and here's my second of the week. Two things that are overlooked here, I believe, San Jose State is third in the Mountain West in passing and the Trojans are playing at home. The Cougars win this game but it's by less than 13.

TCU (-5.5) at Oklahoma State - The Cowboys struggled last week against Texas Tech's offense and now the Frogs are coming with their high-octane attack. The Pokes will score points as well but I don't think they can match TCU blow for blow. Frogs by a touchdown on more.
