This Week's Picks
Rich
Michigan St. (+13) vs Ohio State - Not quite as sharp as they were last year, the Buckeyes face a late season test. Looking to get revenge, the Spartans will have a difficult time stopping Elliott and Barrett consistently. Regardless, MSU looking to spoil the perfect season for their opponent. While I don't think it happens, I don't see tOSU covering the spread.
Oklahoma (off) vs TCU - It's hard not to side with the Sooners in this one. The Horned Frogs may be upset they dropped in the rankings after a win while Ole Miss moved up on a bye...but without Doctson and possibly Boykin, the fire power is lacking. In the final home game of the season, I'm taking OU.
UNC (-6.5) vs Virginia Tech - The Tar Heels continue to protect the ball while rolling up large chunks of yardage. With the effort, it appears as though UNC remains unstoppable in the ACC. I don't see the Hokies finding a weakness this late in the season.
Joey
Oklahoma - This is the highest I've been on an Oklahoma team in a long time. The magic conitinues for one more week setting up a huge Bedlam game.
Tennessee - The Vols have been playing really well lately. They'll blow out Mizzou.
Arkansas - I think Arkansas has figured something out. If they can hold Dak Prescott under 200 yards rushing, they should cover and win.
Donnie
Oregon over USC 38-31. The Ducks have Vernon Adams back and playing very well. USC lost two of its starting linebackers to season ending injuries last week. I see the Ducks covering.
Tennessee over Mizzou 27-13. Mizzou CAN'T score and Tennessee can KINDA score. The Vols win and cover.
Miss St. over Ark 34-31. Arkansas is playing well, but I still think the slip up, even though its at home.
SaintSooner
Gimme Arky to cover over Mississippi State and the 3.5 I like MSU, but I think the Pigs are pulling it together.
Stanford has a case to make. Cal doesn't have the horses. The smoking trees win big.
"Indiana, our Indiana, Indiana, we're all for you! Indiana, our Indiana, Indiana, we're all for you! IU!" ("Boomer Sooner" isn't the only fight song with elementary lyrics.)
Caymen
Memphis - The Tigers covered last week despite losing, and I think they'll come out strong against Temple.
Baylor - The Cowboys should be 8-4, not 10-0. Baylors still a really good team and I doubt they'll be held under 40 points in three straight games.
Michigan - Jim Harbaugh is a coach of the year candidate and I think Christian Hackenburg should struggle greatly against Michigan's secondary.
Matt
North Carolina (-6.5) at Virginia Tech - The Tar Heels are thinking possible ACC championship, while the Hokies are thinking about who their next head coach should be.
Utah (-2) vs. UCLA - Both programs have made statements, within the Pac 12, this season and while I believe this will be a tight game that goes to the wire, you gotta love the home team's chances.
Stanford (-11) vs. Cal - Ah, the classic rivalry is back. Except this time there won't be much of a game to watch as the Cardinal should pretty much have their way with the Bears.
