The Sooners finally started to get hot on the recruiting trail the past couple of weeks, but the class of 2016 took a hit Monday night when Maurice Chandler decided to re-open his commitment. Chandler is a three-star JUCO CB from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. He was the second highest rated JUCO recruit in the state of Oklahoma and a top 40 overall JUCO prospect.
Here's what Chandler himself had to say about it :

Chandler also had offers from TCU, Memphis, and Nebraska. He was committed to Texas Tech out of high school but wound up at Northeastern Oklahoma. He got back on the recruiting trail this year and committed to the Sooners June 17, 2015. The news was somewhat surprising but it's usually in the athlete's best interest when things like this happen.
It's not good news for the Sooners, but luckily they still have quite a ways before February. But whatever happens with Chandler, Sooner nation should wish the young man the best of luck.
