As we are about to enter the home stretch for class of 2016, there are 4 things that needs to happen to make this class a success. Here they are:

1 - Land Quality Defensive Lineman

The class currently has ZERO commitments along the defensive line for the class of 2016. While that might make some panic, the Sooners are seemingly setting in the poll position for the following recruits.

4* Chris Daniels 6-3/300

4* Amani Bledsoe 6-5/265

3* Marcel Southall 6-3/270

This list doesn't even include 3* Stephon Taylor 6-5/300 and 3* Jordan Elliot 6-5/300. Taylor visited for the WVU game and Elliot is set to visit for TCU. The Sooners are ideally looking for 3 players in this group to complete their defensive line class in 2016.

2 - Land Impact Wide Receivers

Losing Sterling Shepard and Durron Neal will hurt next season. Finding an impact player or two at Wide Receiver. The ideal finish would most likely be JUCO WR Derrick Willies 6-4/210 (TTech Commit) and Velus Jones 6-0/180 (USC Commit).

3 - Build Depth Along the Offensive Line

The Sooners are seemingly set at offensive tackle for the future as they are starting two freshman in Orlando Brown and Dru Samia who are quickly becoming really good players. Adding two players that can not only build depth, but in time provide a big impact is definitely needed to make this class a success. Look for 3* Tramonda Moore 6-5/330 and  a player that is currently off the radar or not yet having an offer. This is the only area that would give me pause regarding being counted as a success.

4 - Land Caleb Kelly

You just simply can't miss on a 5 star impact linebacker. Kelly is a star in the making and takes this class to another level.
