Many assumed the Sooners were the odds on favorite to land class of 2016 offensive tackle Kellen Diesch. That all changed when the 6-7/270 pound high school star from Trophy Club, TX verbally committed to Arkansas.
In spite of his commitment, lots of rumors were out there that Diesch was less than solid to the Hogs. These rumors combined with the Sooners and many other schools continuing to recruit him made his commitment shaky. Today the rumors and shakiness were confirmed as Diesch de-committed from the Hogs.

The question now is whether or not the Sooners are a realistic option for Diesch moving forward? At this point it would seem that Diesch is set on A&M, but I wouldn't count the Sooners out. Diesch is originally from Oklahoma and has family in the Sooner state.
Here is a short highlight video of Diesch in action.
