This Week's Picks
Donnie
OSU over TTech 42-34. I just cant see the Pokes leaving Lubbock without a win that cover's the spread. Mahomes will continue to run for his life on Saturday.
Ole Miss over Auburn 34-17. The Tigers have gone from a trendy preseason playoff pick to quite possibly missing a bowl game. Also Ole Miss still controls its own destiny in the SEC.
GTech over Virginia 27-17. The Yellow Jackets will continue to build on their huge win against FSU.
Rich
Oklahoma State (-3) vs Texas Tech - The Cowboys have an underrated defense looking to continue punishing opponents. I think OSU keys in on Jakeem Grant forcing other options to carry the load. However, Emmanuel Ogbah won't give Patrick Mahomes much time in the pocket leading to a comfortable win on the road.
Clemson (-10) vs NC State - It's hard to ignore the pass rush of NC State who recorded seven sacks last time out. Deshaun Watson will continuously look toward Artavis Scott. Regardless, the Tigers are too talented once again continuing their win streak over the Pack.
Memphis (-30.5) vs Tulane - It isn't a question of who will win the meeting. It's a question of by how much? Memphis averages 48 points per game and is looking to crash the playoff party. The only chance to climb in the ranks is to win big earning style points.
Caymen
Florida - The Gators are still one of the best teams in the SEC and Georgia still isn't. But as we learned with OU-Texas rivalries are always tough. But the Gators are the smart pick here.
Texas - I'm ready to call Texas a good team, purely because of their ability to control games. They should control this one too against a struggling Cyclones team.
USC - I know it's not how college football works, but it makes sense for a team that destroyed Utah to destroy a team that Utah beat. Right?
Joey
Oklahoma State (-3) @ Texas Tech - I think this is usually where the wheels start falling off for Tech. Cowboys by 3 scores
USC (-3) @ California - USC has figured something out under Clay Helton. Bears can't keep up with USC's talent.
Florida (-3) vs Georgia - A top 15 team at home against a team missing it's best offensive player....tough one. Florida blows out Georgia.
SaintSooner
(SaintSooner is currently on vacation in Florida.)
Even at 20.5, I'm taking Florida State over Syracuse.
#11 Florida can cover the three points against Georgia.
Oh, I have to pick three? Enh, sure, VATech over Boston College. I can hate Boston College even while I'm in Florida.
Matt
Houston (-11.5) vs. Vanderbilt - The Commodores won't have enough offense to keep up with the Cougars in this one, and the SEC will stop scheduling games against the American Conference because they keep losing. Looking at you Ole Miss.
Ole Miss (-7.5) at Auburn - Way too much Rebel firepower here! Way too little Auburn defense here.
Georgia Tech (-6) at Virginia - Virginia's defense is giving up nearly 35 points per game. Enough said.
