Jordan Parker's commitment to OU was seen by many as inevitable, but it doesn't lessen its significance. The four star prospect from Pittsburg, CA announced his commitment to the world via twitter with the following tweet.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Committed ... <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/BoomerSooner?src=hash">#BoomerSooner</a> thank you to all the coaches that recruited me, I&#39;m blessed <a href="http://t.co/Vw3HvmgKxT">pic.twitter.com/Vw3HvmgKxT</a></p>&mdash; Jordan J-Jona Parker (@_2FOE) <a href="https://twitter.com/_2FOE/status/650473818754953216">October 4, 2015</a></blockquote>

He then followed it up with another tweet that will make Sooner fans excited about his future in Norman.

Parker is ideal cornerback prospect with an offer list to back it up. He is 5-11/185 and chose the Sooners over offers from ASU, Cal, Colorado, Oregon State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington, and Washington St. He is the 11th commitment for the class of 2016.

Another interesting note with Parker is where other defensive backs stand in the class of 2016. Spots are definitely limited and with offers out to Baylen Buchanan, Lamar Jackson, Brandon Burton, and Obi Eboh, it will be interesting to see if there are additional defensive back commitments in the class of 2016.
