Jordan Evans - Questionable - Last weekend, Evans suffered a leg injury sidelining the linebacker for the remainder of the game. At first glance, most suspected a knee injury but fortunately, reports revealed a bruised muscle. Regardless, it most likely leaves Evans out of the equation on Saturday. Who will fill the void then? Mike Stoops verbalized a confidence in Frank Shannon. The redshirt senior is expected to start in Evans' absence.
Matthew Romar - Ready - Sitting out against K-State with a toe injury, Romar returned to practice on Tuesday. While it's not definitive, all signs point to Romar returning along the defensive line.
Devante Bond - Ready - Injured late against West Virginia, Bond continues to find himself on the sideline. Like Romar, Bond returned to practice on Tuesday after tweaking his left ankle. Again, nothing is definite here but Bond should return to action against Texas Tech this weekend. A playmaker on the defensive side of the ball, the linebacker's presence will be a welcomed sight.
Daniel Brooks - Questionable - Finally making an impact on the field, Brooks continuously made the most of each opportunity. Although he sits behind the likes of Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon, Brooks averages 4.1 yards per carry. Against KSU, the junior set a career high of 41 rushing yards on 11 carries while catching one pass for 34 yards. The running back suffered an ankle injury and finds himself on the questionable list this week.
