It's no question that the Sooners need a talent upgrade in the secondary. They made an new offer on Monday to a player who has seen his stock rise very quickly. That player is Antoine Stephens. Stephens came into Monday holding a SMU offer, but had picked up offers from OU, TTech,Louisville, and Washington State by evening. Stephens played for Kimball High School in Dallas, TX (same school that produced former Sooner DT Demarcus Granger).
Stephens possesses great size at 6'2" 190lbs. and is in case you were wondering is being recruited by Jerry Montgomery. Stephens confirmed this as he retweeted Montgomery's tweet about a conversation
I just had a great conversation with my boy from the (469) #BoomerSooner

Stephens joins Nate Dalton, Kareem Orr, Darreyl Patterson, and Justin Reid as the defensive backs that the Sooners are still after in the class of 2015. Look for Stephens to visit the Sooners soon.
