Conference play officially tipped off last week as fans were treated to a few top match-ups. All eyes are currently on the Big XII as the top conference in the nation with five teams inside the top 30 RPI. Current projections put 70% of the league in the Dance. But the question that continues to arise is: How much do we really know about each team? As conference play wears on, the puzzle will soon be solved as the best rise to the top.
On Monday, Texas moved up once again as the Big XII's lone representative inside the top ten. Of course the climb happened due to an Iowa St. loss at the hands of an unranked opponent dropping them eight spots. The occasion marks the only conference member to slip this week while others such as the Oklahoma Sooners and West Virginia follow the rest up the chain.
