Just a few days ago, it appeared that WR Van Jefferson was a lock to Oklahoma. In fact there was even some speculation that his father could be the next WR coach for the Sooners (He is currently the WR coach for the Tennessee Titans). That all changed this weekend as Van Jefferson visited Ole Miss this weekend.
There must be something down in the water in Oxford, as Van left this weekend with many saying he had committed. In fact we tweeted out
Lots of conflicting reports both ways regarding WR Van Jefferson. Some are saying he committed to Ole Miss others are saying he didn't

Well all speculation was put to rest as Van Jefferson tweeted out this evening:
I have officially committed to The University of Mississippi. I want to thank my family, friends, and God through this process. #HottyToddy

This likely means that the Sooners will not take another WR in this class although they haven't given up hope for the recently committed Ryan Newsome (UCLA), Dominque Reed (Tex or Ark most likely). They are also still possibly involved with former North Carolina commit Mike Hughes.
