We have reached a point in recruiting where people are breaking down the color of tie that Kyler Murray is wearing to a sports banquet.

This is just an example of the craziness of recruiting as we countdown the days till National Signing Day (Feb 4th).

The Sooner coaches were busy again today making visits across the country. Jerry Montgomery made us play the Area Code Search game with the following tweet.

662- 2015 DE Commit Gabriel Campbell

318- 2016 DT Rashard Lawrence

903- 2016 DE McTelvin Agim

785- 2016 DE Amani Bledsoe

402- 2015 DL Offer DaiShon Neal (more on him in a minute)

I want to reiterate how lucky Sooner fans are to have a coach like Jerry Montgomery. The play of the DL has increased steadily over the past few years and he is recruiting at an unbelievable level.

This evening both Montgomery and Graduate Assistant Corey Callens visited DaiShon Neal. DaiShon is currently committed to Nebraska, but I would be shocked if that doesn't change. DaiShon tweeted several tweets tonight that clearly show the Sooners are building momentum which could very well lead to a commitment.

If I were a Nebraska fan, I wouldn't like my position with Neal at this point.

Bill Bedenbaugh and Bob Stoops were also out in California visiting OL Commit Dru Samia.

Dru tweeted out a pic with the coaches

Bill Bedenbaugh is a heck of a recruiter, but a terrible smiler (not sure if that is a word). He can smile however he wants if he keeps pulling in quality offensive lineman.

2 Make or Break Recruits

The class of 2015 is full of quality, but it is lacking at one position, LINEBACKER. The Sooners have two players visiting over the next two weeks that will make or break this class. They are

Josh Smith

Arthur McGinnis

The need for at least 3 linebackers in this class is obvious, if not 4. We also tweeted earlier that we expect several new linebacker offers to be made over the next few days. We have no idea who those will be at this point.
