Sterling Shepard saw his dream season cut short due to a reoccurring hamstring injury. It would have been a terrible way for a college career to end. Now that doesn't have to happen as Sterling Shepard just tweeted that he would be returning for his Senior season.
I have decided to return for my senior year. Not only am I committed to the program I want that degree! The best is yet to come! #Boomer

Shepard's return will go a long ways to helping settle the problems the Sooners have at QB. Having difference makers at the WR position give a shaky QB a comfort blanket. Shepard finished the season with 51 catches for 970 yards and 5 TDs. He only had 2 catches for 59 yards over his last 6 games.
With the returns of Striker, Tapper, and now Shepard the Sooners have assured themselves of 3 difference makers next season. The big question still remains for Dorial Green-Beckham and whether he will enter the NFL Draft or return to OU next season.
