The dead period is officially over and the Sooners have three weekends remaining before National Signing Day. The OU coaches wasted no time making numerous visits yesterday and are now set to host multiple prospects this weekend. Here is the list as we know it this weekend.
1. DaiShon Neal
Headed to the airport.

That dog from the 402 has touched down Welcome to Sooner land, Big Dog!!! #Boomer #GRINDTIME

DaiShon Neal is an intriguing prospect. He has the frame (6'7' 250lbs.) to develop into a monster at the next level. While currently committed to Nebraska, don't be surprised if he ends up a Sooner or Duck as he will be making visits to both school before National Signing Day.

South Dallas' finest is in the building. #BigTime ⭕️ #Boomer

The talented DB from the metroplex has seen his recruitment take off. He has settled on a top 3 of OU, Baylor, and TTech, but that didn't keep Texas and TCU from coming by and recruiting him after the dead period ended. Antoine was supposed to commit yesterday, but ended up holding off. I wouldn't be surprised however if we here about a BOOM from the OU coaches regarding Stephens after this weekend.
This seems like a longshot, but Van will definitely be in Norman this weekend.
Just checking in & #Sooners WR target Van Jefferson (@Vj2kAllDay) also re-confirms #OU visit this weekend

Gonna be in Norman today #Boomer.
— Darreyl Patterson (@OnLyHuMaN143) January 16, 2015
The talented cornerback prospect recently picked up a Sooner offer. If a BOOM is possible for Stephens, I would all but guarantee it for Patterson.
The interesting subplot with Stephens and Patterson, is that the Sooners could be finished with their cornerback recruiting class after this weekend. They still are all in for Safety Prospect Nate Dalton though.
5. Oklahoma Commit K Austin Seibert
Official Visit to OKLAHOMA tomorrow

Never bad to have committed prospects on campus with uncommitted ones. Seibert should take over field goal duties next year for sure.
The talented McAlester, OK Athlete should find his place at TE at the next level.

Check back later this weekend as it looks pretty favorable for the Sooners to pick up a commit or two this weekend.
