As Sterling Shepard scampered down the sideline on OU's first offensive play, I immediately thought to the future. Shepard had a career day against the Golden Hurricane, but there is one thing that a 2015 commit has the Shepard doesn't. That one thing is elite speed. 2015 commit John Humphrey has that in spades. This is not a knock on Shepard, but just says how fast Humphrey really is.

That speed was on display on Friday night as Humphrey turned in a huge game for Clear Falls High School. Humphrey ended the game with 8 receptions for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns as his high school found themselves victorious 42-41.

For those of you who have forgotten what type of player the Sooners are getting with Humphrey, this highlight video will give you a quick reminder.

If Friday Night was any indication of the type of player the Sooners are getting in Humphrey, opposing defensive coordinators will find themselves having nightmares. Humphrey is a 3 star recruit who chose the Sooners over offers from Notre Dame, Baylor, Ole Miss, TTech, Mizzou, Neb, and TCU.
