Bobby Evans was one the first commitments for the class of 2015. He is the younger brother of Tay Evans (class of 2014 Linebacker) and starred for Allen High School, in Allen, TX.

Evans tore his ACL and will now miss the rest of his senior season. Evans was obviously upset and let everyone know via twitter.

His older brother also let everyone know on twitter what they could do to help

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Yall pray for my lil brother man! Don&#39;t worry it&#39;s all in God&#39;s plan keep ya head up bro I love you RT! <a href="https://twitter.com/BobbyEvans44">@BobbyEvans44</a></p>&mdash; ⚡️Tay Evans 9⃣⚡️ (@tayvns96) <a href="https://twitter.com/tayvns96/status/514574621467627521">September 24, 2014</a></blockquote>

While this is an obvious set back, I seem to remember another big time recruit suffering an ACL injury his senior year and going on to do big things for the Sooners. That player is current Cincinnati Bengal tight end Jermaine Gresham.

Let's all hope that Bobby has a quick and speedy recovery and future crushing Longhorn defensive lineman opening huge holes for Sooner running backs!!
