Many expected to see Oklahoma's alternate uniforms make the debut last Saturday night in the nationally televised game against the Tennessee Volunteers. The Sooners, however, decided to stick to their traditional home uniforms and keep the suspense going for at least one more week. On Wednesday night it was announced via Twitter that OU would don the new duds on the road against the West Virginia Mountaineers.

While there's much excitement about the alternates because of the effect that it could have on recruiting and just a break from the normal traditional road whites, there's also a portion of the fan base that says you shouldn't mess with tradition and the bad juju from the 2009 Texas Tech Nike Combat uniform experiment is still all too fresh.
So how do you feel about it? Are you in favor of the new or the traditional? Sound off in the comments below.
