While two of the top teams remain questionable at best, the Oregon Ducks retain one of the most impressive wins of the season. Some would argue that the program hailing from Eugene should find their name atop these polls yet it still hasn't happened. Regardless the Ducks steal the No. 3 ranking from the Oklahoma Sooners in this week's Coaches' Poll.

  • The South Carolina Gamecocks makes the biggest move of the week after a close win over the Georgia Bulldogs at home. With the win, SC enters the SEC talks once again while jumping seven spots to No. 14 in the Coaches' Poll.
  • USC upset the Stanford Cardinal last week. However, the favor was returned as Boston College knocked off a rising Trojan squad.
  • As a conference the Big 10 has not done itself any favors. Although the Nebraska Cornhuskers dismantled Fresno St., they lost their spot in the polls moving from No. 23 to No. 24 this week.
