Bovada has released an updated version of their Heisman odds heading into the 2014 NCAA Football season emailed to me courtesy of Jimmy Shapiro of Props PR. Of course, there are a few familiar names at the top of the list but it may come as a surprise that Trevor Knight's odds have gone up since January. On the flip side, another Big 12 quarterback in Bryce Petty has witnessed his odds decrease slightly.
Adding to the competition, more than a handful of new names are making their debut.
Still based largely on potential, Knight flashed his upside during the Kansas St. game as well as the Sugar Bowl. While Oklahoma fans are excited about the upcoming season and Knight continues to find his name on watch list after watch list, will that potential meet promise?
Until that can be decided here is how the Heisman odds currently shake out.
