Lots of initial thoughts here that we'll eventually get to in our recaps but for the immediate answer - Oklahoma's running backs are big, fast, strong and versatile. Keith Ford, Alex Ross, and Samaje Perine all scored touchdowns (Ford and Ross twice), with Ford also adding an additional 65 receiving yards (team-high) to his stat line.
Trevor Knight was much better than his debut last season, passing for 253 yards on 19/34 with a touchdown and a pick.
Defensively the Sooners held LA Tech workhorse Kenneth Dixon to just 42 yards on 16 carries.
Well have much more coming up in the way of post game reviews but for now enjoy the start of the 2014 season and feel free to share your initial thoughts on the game in the comments section below.
