The injury bug and roster cuts are starting to take their toll on NFL rosters and unfortunately that means some of our Sooners in the NFL are going to fall victim. Two former Oklahoma football players went down with knee injuries this week and another was let go.

Receiver Justin Brown failed to record a catch in Pittsburgh's 31-21 loss to the Eagles on Thursday night, but was targeted twice. Quarterback Landry Jones didn't play in the game. Offensive tackle Lane Johnson plays for Philadelphia.

Defensive end Frank Alexander had three tackles in Carolina's 30-7 loss to New England. Defensive tackle Casey Walker recorded no stats. Roy Finch recorded one punt return for 11 yards and caught two passes for 14 yards for the Patriots in the game.

Ryan Broyles led the Lions with 44 receiving yards, on three catches, in Detroit's 13-12 win over Jacksonville. Linebacker Travis Lewis recorded four tackles for the Lions. Jamell Fleming recorded one tackle for the Jaguars.

Demontre Hurst had three tackles in Chicago's 34-6 loss to Seattle.

Defensive tackle Gerald McCoy recorded two tackles (one for loss) in Tampa Bay's 27-14 win over Buffalo.

Running back DeMarco Murray had 18 yards on six carries for the Cowboys in their 25-20 loss to Miami on Saturday night. Damien Williams had 33 yards on seven carries and the go ahead touchdown for the Dolphins. He also had a 35 yard kickoff return.

Center Gabe Ikard suffered a season ending ACL tear and will undergo surgery. Tennessee will welcome him back to camp, next season, with the opportunity to fight for a roster spot.

Tress Way punted twice for 78 combined yards in Washington's 23-17 loss to Baltimore. Guard Chris Chester and offensive tackle Trent Williams joined Way on the Redskins roster. Corner Dominique Franks recorded three tackles in the win for the Ravens.

Linebacker Curtis Lofton had four tackles in New Orleans 23-17 win over Indianapolis. Receiver Kenny Stills was back from a muscle injury but recorded no receptions and was targeted just once.

Quarterback Sam Bradford was 4/9 for 77 yards when he suffered a season ending knee injury in the Rams' 33-14 win over Cleveland. Guard Davin Joseph is on the St. Louis roster as well.

Running back Brennan Clay did not play in Denver's 18-17 loss to Houston on Saturday and then was released by the team on Monday. Linebacker Corey Nelson recorded four tackles for the Broncos and safety Quinton Carter had three tackles. Receiver Lacoltan Bester was targeted once for the Texans and offensive tackle Bronson Irwin is also on the Houston roster.

Tight end Jermaine Gresham caught one pass for 33 yards in Cincinnati's 19-13 win over Arizona on Saturday. Safety Tony Jefferson had four tackles (one for loss) for the Cardinals.
