A three-star recruit (per Rivals), Samia is an offensive tackle from Danville, California who stands at 6-5 and 280. Rivals has him ranked as the #35 offensive tackle prospect in the nation. He will be turning down offers from more than a dozen other schools (including Arizona, Cal, Texas Tech, and UCLA) to come to Oklahoma.
Samia becomes the Sooners eleventh verbal commitment for the 2015 class and will join Bobby Evans (Allen, TX), Cody Ford (Pineville, LA), and Dominique Hearne (Lancaster, TX) as an offensive line commitment. Evans and Ford are both listed as 4-star recruits by Rivals.
