Resshirt sophomore Alex Ross only has three carries during his Sooner football career (6.3 YPC) but that doesn't mean there won't be a lot of weight put on his shoulders this fall. Even before the situation with Joe Mixon came to light, Ross was expected to be a contributor in 2014.
A speedster from Jenks, Oklahoma, Ross could be a part of the kickoff return team as well as a regular in the Sooners' backfield.
