Bovada released its odds for each of the major conferences today and the Sooners are the favorites for the Big XII Conference at 2/3. The defending champion Baylor Bears come in second at 11/4 and Texas rounds out the top three at 7/1. At the bottom of the barrel are the Kansas Jayhawks and Iowa State Cyclones at 100/1.

Odds To Win The Big XII Championship

Oklahoma 2/3
Baylor 11/4
Texas 7/1
Kansas State 10/1
Oklahoma State 10/1
TCU 14/1
Texas Tech 28/1
West Virginia 66/1
Iowa State 100/1
Kansas 100/1

Other Major Conference Favorites

ACC

Florida State - 4/11

Big Ten

Ohio State - 10/11

Pac 12

Oregon - 11/10

SEC

Alabama - 7/5

That's five major conference champions vying for the four college football playoff spots (and you thought the playoff fixed everything). So here's two questions to discuss in the comments section.

1) Which Big XII team, ranked four or lower, has the best shot at being the conference "dark horse"?

2) Which of the five projected conference winners do you see getting left out of the playoffs?

My answers are Texas Tech and Ohio State. Tell me why I'm wrong.
