On September 28, 2013 the Oklahoma Sooners accomplished a feat that hadn't been done since 1956. Led by a smothering defensive and a couple of timely throws from quarterback Blake Bell, OU beat Notre Dame by a final score of 35-21. It was just the second time in school history that the Sooners had notched a victory over the Irish.
