The Oklahoma Sooners are at it once again after an 11-2 season. Picked to win their ninth conference title, Bob Stoops and Company collected 47-of-56 first place votes. Against all odds, OU employed a "next up" attitude that seemed to work in what many considered a rebuilding year. Now, Oklahoma returns 20 starters and is looking to mix it up in the national race.
Sewing up second in the media poll is the defending Big XII Champion, the Baylor Bears. Receiving nine first place votes, Art Briles clearly has this program on the up and up.
