Oh what a difference a year makes. This time last year Mac James was an obscure bench player for the Oklahoma Sooners but as of Friday the senior to be now has a major decision to make. James was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on Friday (187 overall) and now must weigh the option of coming back to Oklahoma for is senior season or beginning the journey of making his way up the ranks of the MLB.
A utility guy for the Sooners, James played both infield (including catcher) and outfield last season and batted .330 with 15 doubles, five home runs, and 41 RBI.
Regardless of what his final decision is concerning his future, we just wanted to say congrats and Boomer Sooner!
