Not sure how you feel about early games but I hate them. Seriously, I hate them so much that I would kick them in the teeth if it were possible. Doesn't matter though because they still keep coming back.
The Sooners had their third kickoff time set for the 2014 season and it isn't good news for night owls. Oklahoma's second game of the season (first road contest) is set for an 11:00 a.m. kickoff against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. A game in the heart of the fertile recruiting soil of Tulsa is a good investment for the Sooners and the reward (even for an early kickoff) is that the game will most likely feature a crop load of homegrown prep talent as visitors.
ABC picked up the rights to the game but that doesn't necessarily mean that you won't have to catch the game on network cable. The game will be aired either by ABC, ESPN, or ESPN 2.
OU will kickoff the 2014 season at 6:00 p.m. against Louisiana Tech in a game that will be available by Pay Per View. A week after the trip to Tulsa the Sooners will host Tennessee in a game that will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. and will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN 2.
The Sooners beat Tulsa 51-20 in Norman last season.
