OU just picked up a huge commitment (literally) in 2015 offensive guard Dominque Hearne. Hearne checks in at 6'3" 290 lbs. and plays his high school football for Lancaster High School (a suburb of Dallas).

Hearne broke the news himself via twitter

Hearne had a visit with Bob Stoops today and apparently liked what he saw.

Hearne committed to the Sooners over offers from OKState, TTECH, TCU, and Arizona State. He adds to the recruiting momentum of the Sooners and fills a huge need as the Sooners lose 4 interior offensive lineman after the 2015 season.

Hearne joins OT commit Bobby Evans. With the Sooners in great shape with 2015 lineman Jalin Barnett the Sooners 2015 OL class is quickly rounding into shape. Look for the Sooners to take at least 1-2 more interior OL (Barnett) and 1-2 OTs (preferably a mid-term JUCO).

Hearne is a 3 star recruit on both Rivals and 247sports.
