In 2007, the Oklahoma Sooners hosted North Texas as they debuted two starting freshmen in Sam Bradford (redshirt) at quarterback and DeMarco Murray at runningback. The duo cemented themselves as major offensive threats. Bradford threw for 363 yards and three touchdowns to start a record setting career. Murray on the other hand was forced into the limelight with Allen Patrick suffering from a sprained ankle. The would be next-in-line, Chris Brown, was serving a suspension. Murray became the first Oklahoma player to score five touchdowns in his debut and the rest was history. When it was all said and done, the No. 8 Sooners walked away with a 79-10 victory over the Mean Green.
