In 2003 Oklahoma defensive tackle Tommie Harris became just the third player in school history to win the Lombardi Award. A two-time All American and All Conference selection (2002 & 2003), Harris was also named to Sports Illustrated's All Decade team in 2009.
Following the 2003 season he decided to forgo his senior year at Oklahoma to enter the NFL draft. The Chicago Bears selected him with their first round pick (14th overall) in 2004 and he became a three-time Pro Bowl selection (2005, 2006, & 2007).
