There has been a lot of speculation as to what Oklahoma basketball coach Lon Kruger would do with the spot left vacant by Je'lon Hornbeak's decision to transfer. We now have cause to put speculation aside as a definite answer has emerged in the was of JUCO shooting guard Dinjiyl Walker.

Walker, a 6-2/195 guard from Iowa Western Community College, averaged 16 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game to help Iowa Western to a 23-8 record last season. He shot 41% from inside the arch and 39% from beyond. He was the second leading scorer for the Reivers and will come to Oklahoma with two seasons of eligibility left.
After taking visits to Bradley and Duquesne in March, Walker decided to make his commitment to the Sooners during an on campus visit on Thursday May 1st. Welcome to the Sooner Nation, Dinjiyl. Boomer!!!
