Michael Tinsley leads the way for Kansas with a .371 average and 8 RBI. Connor McKay is batting .320 and has a team high five home runs on the season. He also leads the way with 34 RBI on the year which is tops in the Big Twelve.

With a collective ERA of 3.31 on the year (6th in the Big 12), the Jayhawks will attack Oklahoma's lineup with a pitching staff that features starters Wes Benjamin, Robert Kahana, and Frank Duncan. Benjamin has yet to lose this season, winning four times in six starts to compile a 4-0 record. He's struck out 27 batters this season.

Coming off a rough outing at ORU on Tuesday evening, the Sooners dropped from the top hitting team in the conference to the third best team batting average at .300 even. Mac James continues to set the pace for Oklahoma with a Big 12 best .429 batting average. Hunter Haley has scored a conference best 27 runs and is second in the Big Twelve with five home runs. He also leads the team with 24 RBI on the year.

Oklahoma's pitching staff has a team ERA of 3.37 which puts them one spot behind Kansas in the conference rankings at number six.

Looking at the track records of the two teams coming into this weekend series, it shouldn't surprise anyone to see a set of high scoring games.

The Sooners travel to Kansas on a two-game losing streak and are 1-2 this year in true road games.
