Josh Heupel has seemingly zeroed in on his number one target at QB for the class of 2015. Just a couple months ago most thought that QB would be an afterthought in this class with Trevor Knight's performance in the Sugar Bowl, a Senior veteran with lots of experience in Blake Bell, Kendal Thompson, the talk of Cody Thomas emerging, and Justice Hansen enrolling early. Things have changed drastically with Bell at TE and Thompson set to transfer to Utah. This weekend could go a long way towards filling a big need in the class of 2015.

The Sooners have offered several prospects but Torrance Gibson has quickly ascended to the top of the list. Gibson check in at 6'4" 195lbs. and plays his high school football at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida. Gibson's offer list includes the likes of Alabama, LSU, FSU, UF, Notre Dame, tOSU, Texas A&M, and Auburn along with his offer from the Sooners.

Gibson is quite capable of beating a team with his arms or legs. As a junior Gibson rushed for 1,032 yards and 10 TDs to go along with 1864 yards passing and 19 TDs. He completed 56% of his passes.

Gibson broke the news of his visit first on twitter with the following tweet

It was quickly confirmed by Josh McCuistion on Soonerscoop.com
