The Sooners are off and running for the class of 2015. They already have two defensive lineman committed for the class of 2015. They are:

Marquise Overton 6'1" 300 lbs. of Jenks, OK

Du'Vonta Lumpkin 6'3" 278lbs. of Houston, TX

However, the Sooners are in pursuit of an even bigger recruit who has openly stated that he grew up rooting for the Sooners. That player is Kahlil McKenzie. McKenzie is 6'3" 316lbs. and plays his high school ball at De La Salle High School in Concord, CA. Mckenzie is the son of Reggie McKenzie who is the general manager of the Oakland Raiders and formerly a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers.

With NFL pedigree and size, McKenzie's stock is soaring. He has already picked up offers from the likes of Florida, Stanford, USC, and Tennessee along with OU.

McKenzie makes no bones about being an OU fan and his tweets back it up.

After OU beat OSU in Norman for the first leg of Bedlam Basketball McKenzie tweeted:

After he received his invite to Junior Day

He will also be in Norman for OU's 2nd junior day on March 1

And here is a photo from twitter that I think you all will like:

McKenzie will be in Norman and will be a central part of OU's upcoming Junior Day on March 1st. The Coaches will have to work, but McKenzie could easily find himself apart of the class of 2015.
