Steven Parker Commits to OU

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Jenks, Oklahoma safety Steven Parker just committed to OU. Parker is the number one player in the state of Oklahoma and moments ago made his decision official in a ceremony at Jenks High School. Parker chose OU over offers from across the country that included Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M, and OSU. His decision came down to Auburn, A&M, OSU, and OU.

Soonerscoop.com's Eddie Radosevich was at the announcement and broke the news on twitter.

Bob Stoops seems to be excited as well, as he just tweeted

With the commitment of Parker, OU has landed the number 1 player in the state of Oklahoma for the last three years (Alex Ross, DJ Ward, and now Parker).

Parker is a 4 star recruit and the number 53 ranked player in the country.
