Over the weekend, the Oklahoma St. Cowboys shocked the rest of the conference by earning a bowl bid after a Bedlam win. Not only did the defeat seal their fate, it also sealed the fate of their in-state rival as it was announced that the Oklahoma Sooners would play in the Russell Athletic Bowl. Looking back on the season, OU's only home conference win came against the Kansas Jayhawks...not exactly how anyone thought this year would pan out after the high expectations.
From poor decisions being made on the field to the Russell Athletic Bowl Gifts, the Twitterverse has an opinion on everything! So grab some popcorn and let the games begin.
Bedlam Shock
Quickly on Bedlam, not sure I've seen Stoops make 2 worse decisions than he did at end of that game. Kick to Hill? Then throw 3 times in OT?
— Jake Trotter (@Jake_Trotter) December 7, 2014
On those two worst decisions...
@CCMachine Players played hard. Coaches should be fired over decision to kick to Hill after having coverage team just run down to stop him.

@pmcglathery @CCMachine but it all starts at the top...Bob is a good coach but he's become secure & lazy in Norman
— David (@1102boomsoon) December 7, 2014
@CCMachine I love Bob Stoops but he's done all he can do with the program. Time to move on. Preferably on good terms. Window closing fast.

@CCMachine That's it, I'm totally done with Huepel!

With replays of the game set to air, fans began trolling the Oklahoma Football coaching staff.
Hey @OU_Football the Bedlam replay is on tv right now... Wanna know how it ends?
— OKState Problems (@OKStateProbs) December 8, 2014
.@ou_coachmike the Bedlam replay is on Fox Sports Oklahoma right now are you watching?

Gabe Ikard decided to offer a bit of an opinion on the disappointing loss that summed up the season that is.
Bedlam meltdown sadness has returned in its entirety. I suppose it's time to listen to T Swift's "Shake It Off." Yeah. It's that bad.

"Hello" Russell Athletic Bowl
With the announcment that Oklahoma would be traveling to Orlando to participate in the Bowl, the program decided to send out a friendly "hi" to the folks hosting the show. The response was simply fantastic and the Clemson program decided to get in on the action.

Bowl Gifts
Of course, with each bowl players receive a small gift. This year at the Russell Athletic Bowl, players receive a $447 Best Buy gift card among other things...a $2 increase over the Holiday Bowl's gift card.
Holiday Bowl offering $445 Best Buy gift card, per SBJ. Russell Athletic Bowl, clearly playing 'The Price is Right', is offering $447 card.

Just in case you were wondering what you could use $447 at Best Buy for,
That's the price for 22 DVDs of Mr. Nanny. RT @Cody_Stoots: what's up with the $447 Best Buy gift card number? Is there a hidden message?
