Oklahoma State, why can't we just beat you?
Good gracious, BEDLAM has been the name of the game for a few years now. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State didn't disappoint in providing fireworks. Aaron Ripkowski, especially -- and how often is the fullback the guy you give a shout-out to? -- played his heart out in the annual sweat-match that occurs when these two schools play.
Michael Hunnicutt -- on senior day -- missed a 44-yarder wide right in overtime, giving Oklahoma State a golden opportunity. The Cowboys, predictably, ran the ball in overtime to take it away in overtime in Norman. OU squandered the lead and the victory.
Our primary bloggers, who were on hand at Owen Field, will undoubtedly provide more of their commentary when they return. Sincere congratulations to the Cowboys and Mike Gundy for their in-state win and reaching bowl eligibility!
From the Oklahoma side, questions will certainly be asked about the direction the program is heading, Mike Stoops's postgame reflections, and what this loss will mean to recruiting.
Bedlam. It's Bedlam.
