Ohio State over Wisconsin 31-28. I know it's the 3rd string QB. I realize that this pick makes little sense given the state of both teams, but something tells me that Ohio State wins this game at the end and throws a wrench into the playoff selection committee final 4.

TCU over ISU 37-17. Two possible outcomes in this game. 1, TCU dominates and this game is over midway through the second quarter. 2, TCU struggles, begins to press as the game progresses knowing they need to win and win convincingly. I think we will see the 2nd scenario on Saturday. ISU won't win, but the game that should have been a blowout will not.

FSU over GTech 34-13. Something tells me FSU plays its first complete game of the year. The committee moves them out of the 4th slot thus ensuring the possibility of a Bama-FSU National Championship.

I hereby present to you my least-inspired Friday Locks of the season. I go out with a whimper as a general rule.

TULANE covers over Temple. Roll Green Wave! (I hear from some of my old Tulane buddies that their new stadium is really sweet, and makes much more sense than having them play in the Superdome.)

NORTHERN ILLINOIS beats the spread against Bowling Green. Why? Enh, I dunno.

#12 GEORGIA TECH thrills the nation by beating #2 FSU!!!!!!

Temple (-3) vs Tulane - Temple's defense vs the Tulane offense will be the biggest mismatch in this game. I think it will be ugly across the board but I don't see any way Temple wins by fewer than three points.

Wisconsin (-4) vs Ohio St. - It's all about the quarterback and tOSU is on their third guy. I just don't see how Ohio St. can muster enough points because the Badgers are going to control this with their ground game. I think it's low scoring but Wisconsin wins off turnovers.

Army (off) vs Navy - I don't understand why but Yahoo put this in this week's pick 'em even though the game isn't until a week from Saturday. But, how can you not like the Midshipmen over the Black Knights? Too much offense for Army. I'll take Navy in a pick 'em right now.

Alabama (-14.5) vs Missouri - The SEC East can't hold a candle to the West. Needless to say, the Tigers are just another obstacle in the way of a potential national championship.

Wisconsin (-4) vs Ohio St. - Down to a third string quarterback on a big stage, I don't think the Buckeyes get it done.Give me the Badgers to cover behind an explosive rushing attack.

Oregon (-14.5) vs Arizona - This is the pick I am least confident in this weekend. Arizona upset the Ducks once this season and Mariota will look for revenge. The Heisman candidate makes a statement on Saturday as Oregon secures a spot in the playoff.
