Oklahoma Sooners Football Recruiting / DB Nate Dalton Set to Visit Along with Mystery Visitor?

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Nate Dalton is an intriguing prospect that has seen his recruitment take off over the past few months. He went from relatively unknown to having offers from Arkansas, OkState, Utah, Kentucky, and Washington St. along with the Sooners.  Dalton checks in at 6'3" 180lbs. and most assume that he is being recruited at cornerback, although with his size he would appear to be a natural fit at free safety.

Dalton will be taking his first official visit this weekend to Norman to watch the Sooners take on the Pokes in Bedlam. Bob Pryzbolo of Scout.com confirmed the visit via twitter with the following tweet

This weekend will be Dalton's first official visit. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he left Norman committed to the Sooners.

The other interesting part of Nate Dalton's visit is that rumors are swirling that his teammate and former Sooner commit Du'Vonta Lampkin will be joining him in Norman. Most had assumed that the Sooners and Lampkin had parted ways after he decommited from the Sooners and ended up verbally committed to the Longhorns. If Lampkin shows up, there is a solid chance he ends up switching back to the Sooners.
