While Florida St. continues to slide in the College Playoff Rankings, the potential for the Big XII to push two teams inside the top four remains. It's all riding on "Championship" Weekend as to who the final four teams standing will be when the dust settles.
As far as storylines are concerned, the Baylor vs TCU argument rages on for yet another week. The Bears face a top 10 opponent hoping a win gives them a boost when it comes to strength of schedule. Assuming that's the case, the tiebreaker could come into play giving the folks from Waco the edge with a head-to-head win over the Horned Frogs.
Outside of the most popular topic around the Big XII, I think it's time we legitimately look at the possibility of the Seminoles missing out on the playoff. Although Florida St. remains unbeaten, the quality of the ACC lacks the depth of other power five conferences. In my humble opinion, to leave the defending national champs out of the conversation is absurd.
